Concentrics Conducts Industry Research on How Consumer Navigate and Select OTC Products

In support of changes to the draft FDA guidance on “Best Practices in Proprietary Names,” Concentrics designed and conducted a pilot study involving 200 consumers in order to learn how they navigate and select OTC products in a retail setting.  The data supports the importance of the brand name and trade dress to aid consumers in finding and selecting the OTC products they need.  The Consumer Healthcare Products Association (CHPA) contributed to the funding on this study.
