Keith Burks, CPA, MBA
Mr. Keith W. Burks is a Partner at Bindley Capital Partners.  Mr. Burks provides operational and strategic oversight to Bindley Capital Partners investments.  Mr. Burks served as an Executive Vice President and Director of Bindley Western Industries, Inc. and was responsible for its operations. He also served as the President and Bindley Western Drug Company until the acquisition by Cardinal Health in 2001.  Mr. Burks serves as a Director of LDI Ltd., LLC. and also serves on the Board of Guardian Pharmacy, LLC.  He also serves as the Chairman of Concentrics Research, LLC.  Mr. Burks serves as Butler University’s Vice-Chair of the Board of Trustees.  Previously, he served as the Chairman of the Healthcare Distribution Management Association.  Mr. Burks is a Certified Public Accountant.  He holds an M.B.A. from Butler University and a B.S. from Indiana University.


Thomas J. Salentine, Jr.
Mr. Salentine runs the day-to-day operations of BCP. Previously, Mr. Salentine was a principal at Frontenac Company, a Chicago-based private equity firm, where he executed acquisitions of and investments in private companies in a range of industries. Prior to Frontenac, Mr. Salentine worked in investment banking at Bear Stearns and also worked in the strategic planning department of DreamWorks SKG during its start-up phase.  Mr. Salentine is a graduate of Harvard College and received his master’s degree in business administration from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.


Tina Luzer-Burks, RN, BSN
Tina Luzer-Burks is an owner and board member of Concentrics Research. Tina received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana, and an Associate degree in Nursing from Marian University in Indianapolis. She worked in various medical units at Methodist Hospital and St. Vincent Hospital, including: Transplant-Clinical Research, Coronary Critical Care, Orthopedic Outpatient Recovery, Ophthalmology Outpatient, Medical Surgical and Infertility unit. Tina left bedside nursing to be a pharmaceutical sales representative for Aventis Pharmaceuticals. Upon completing her nursing career, Tina created her own business and has become a seasoned event coordinator, managing numerous special events for non-profit and corporate organizations. Tina was also the Coordinator of Donor Services for the 2012 Indianapolis Super Bowl Host Committee. Tina serves as an Emeritus Board Member for the Cancer Support Community of Central Indiana and is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society.


Julie Aker, BS, MT (ASCP)
Julie started her career in healthcare over 30 years ago in a large healthcare system in Colorado Springs.  Originally from Indiana, she attended Ball State University and obtained degrees in medical technology, biology and chemistry; her MBA work was done at the University of Colorado.  She worked in the clinical laboratory and grew into senior management in medical affairs with over 800 healthcare providers.  She started a healthcare consulting business within the hospital system that soon grew and became a separate business unit.  Julie was later recruited by Covance, a global CRO, for positions in quality assurance/regulatory affairs and in protocol services as head of the project teams in the U.S. and Switzerland for the Central Laboratory Business.  In 1999, Julie was recruited to work at West Pharmaceutical Services and expanded the clinical, consulting and regulatory capabilities of the company.  In 2002, she led a management buy-out with the partnership and funding from Bindley Capital Partners and started Concentrics Research.  Julie frequently consults with clients on regulatory and program strategy at the Concentrics Strategy Center and attends FDA meetings and Advisory Committees with sponsors.  Julie also serves as the President and CEO of Concentrics Research, LLC.
